Alpacaland

Today, Kyoko and I travelled to the south of England to visit an Alpaca farm. The air surrounding the 22 acre farm was clean, the owners welcoming and the 60 alpacas living there very peculiar indeed. Being related to camels, these animals have a strangely exotic feel about them but also felt as familar as the sheep we see dotted all over the English countryside. Not wanting to leave empty handed, Kyoko came away with a kilogram of alpaca fleece. I can't wait to see what she spins out of them...

Out of the blue, came a rainbow
